51-Word Story #20: Purpose

He trained incessantly for his big break; endless effort to shave milliseconds off his time. He finally made it. His dreams were realized. But what then? What does one do after achieving one's life goals? A seemingly innocuous question, but with such powerful implications. He had nothing left to live for.

And a bonus: 51-Word Story #20.5: Moustachio
Kyle had the fanciest moustache of all. He was famous for it; it was probably the reason "Kyle Dohring Waterloo" is a recommended search on Google. A moustache is such an innocuous thing, and he had once thought to shave it, but couldn't fathom the idea. The Shavening would never occur.

(Prompt words: Shave, innocuous)
