51-Word Story #172: Undampened

We were enjoying a walk on a beautiful Spring day. The Sun was shining, the birds were singing. Naturally, something would go wrong. A freak rainstorm swept through the region. As we ran to the nearest pavilion, our shoes would pivot in the slick mud. Dirty and wet, we just laughed.
